Mr. Samir Hulileh is one of prominent Palestine's businesspeople with a vast experience in the Palestinian economy. Mr. Hulileh held different management positions in Government and Private sector and NGOs. among which he was the Palestinian Government Cabinet Secretary in 2005-2006, and the former Assistant Under Secretary for the Ministry of the Economy and Trade between 1994-1997, the Managing Director for the Portland Trust in Palestine between 2006-2008, and the CEO of Palestine Development and Investment Co. (PADICO) between 2008-2017. Also, during the eighties, he worked as a lecturer and the Dean of Students Affairs at Birzeit University.
Mr. Hulileh participated as a chairman and board member for many public and private companies and economic organizations. Of which was, Palestine Telecommunication (PalTel), Palestine Exchange (PEX), Nassar Group International Companies, Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) and Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) and lately he is the chairman of Maalchat for electronic payment system.
Mr. Hulileh holds a master’s degree in economics from the AUB in Beirut,1983.
