Mr. Ibrahim Al-Natour, first elected Mayor of Rawabi City since 2017, architect and urban planner; contributed to the planning, design, and implementation of numerous projects in Palestine especially in Rawabi and has kept up with its development since 2010, Mr.Al-Natour previously held the positions of Director of the Engineering Contracts Department in Rawabi City and Head of the Planning and Landscape Architecture Department in Ziadeh's Consulting Engineering firm. In addition to his work in the fields of design and planning in the city of Jerusalem and the protection and management plan for the old cities of Bethlehem area.
For his contributions to architectural design and urban planning, he received many honors and certifications, including one from UNESCO. Additionally, he is a member of several boards for national organizations, including the Palestinian Shooting Federation, the Joint Service Council for Solid Waste Management in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates (JSC) and Jericho Agro-Industrial Park (JAIP).
Mr. Al-Natour holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with distinction from Birzeit University, and Master’s degree with distinction in the field of City Management and Development in Developing Countries from the Polytechnic University in Barcelona, Spain.
